Dear Church Family,

We have an opportunity to be the hands and feet of Jesus for our dear sister, Mirella. As some of you know, her youngest son, Clay, is in the hospital awaiting major surgery. This is a significant operation requiring two specialists, and they are currently waiting for another surgeon to become available. As you can imagine, this is an incredibly stressful and difficult time for Mirella, Clay, and her eldest son, Jia.
As a church family, we want to surround them with love, support, and practical care. Here’s how we can help:

1. Visits
If you would like to visit and offer comfort and encouragement to Mirella and Clay, please reply to this email for details and indicate a date and morning or afternoon. Click on this link to see the slots already filled

2. Financial Support
If you are in a position to help financially, donations can be made to the Church Account with the reference “Compassionate Care.” The church will ensure funds are distributed appropriately to support Mirella’s needs. Any surplus will be set aside for future needs.

3. Meals
We are organizing meal support to ease Mirella’s burden. These just need to be single servings for Mirella. Meals can be dropped off at the church on Wednesdays between 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM. Please sign up using the Meal Train link here: https://mealtrain.com/n4gke7

4. Help with Jia
Mirella will need support in caring for Jia during this time. If you are able to assist, please reply to this email.

5. Prayer
Most importantly, please be in fervent prayer for Mirella, Clay, and Jia. Let’s intercede on their behalf before the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, who holds Clay in His hands. Please pray:
For a miracle of healing for Clay
For the right medical interventions and an expert surgical team
For no long-term health complications and a full, healthy life ahead for Clay
For peace and strength for Mirella as she walks this journey
